Mi Pawndilla

Mi Pawndilla

Akurat was invited to participate in a closed competition for a dog hotel on the outskirts of Mexico City. The program included separate play areas for small and large dogs, bathing facilities, sleeping quarters, and administrative spaces.
The proposal concentrates the indoor services within the existing building and attaches the accommodation area to it, preserving both the structure and the concrete slab of the industrial site.
The remaining site is divided according to dog size and includes shallow pools, sloped circular play elements, and vegetation that provides shade and shelter from sun and rain.
