Akurat was commissioned to coordinate and implement BIM across all disciplines for Sentura Zamora Shopping Center. The architectural design was developed by Grupo Link, the structural design by engineer Eduardo Figueroa, and the MEP design by Grupo CIE.
The discipline models were integrated into a coordinated environment to identify clashes, consolidate information, and link the design with the master construction schedule. This information was then used to develop a 4D simulation representing the overall construction sequence.
The methodology established a visual reference for team coordination and provided the basis for monitoring construction progress through models and scheduling data.
