Lomas del Bosque Corporate Offices

Lomas del Bosque Corporate Offices

The proposal was developed for an invited competition for the new corporate offices of a Mexican freight transportation company. The design began by reusing the existing structure as the framework for a flexible spatial system.
A secondary structure, rotated 45 degrees, was introduced within the orthogonal order of the main frame. This creates a dialogue between two geometries: a large unifying roof and a series of interior modules that give the workspaces a more human scale.
The modular logic allows the building to expand incrementally by adding new units as the client’s space requirements evolve.
