New Querétaro State Congress Building
Querétaro, Querétaro, Mexico, 2013
Time was the challenge. C5i Hidalgo brings together the State Ministry of Public Security and SEMARNAT, Mexico’s environmental agency, under one roof, with space for 250 monitoring operators: 150 for public security and 100 for SEMARNAT. Feeds from cameras in every municipality in the state converge here, along with highway security arches and environmental monitoring. From this center, the state protects its citizens from both crime and severe weather.
Our client, Seguritech, installed a dense array of technology systems that had to coexist with the architecture without putting the schedule at risk. Our role was to coordinate every one of those installations from the design stage while creating a comfortable workspace for the people who watch over the state from here. A building where technology and people each have their place, delivered with the urgency Hidalgo’s security demanded.
