New Querétaro State Congress Building

New Querétaro State Congress Building

Akurat was commissioned to coordinate the design disciplines and implement BIM across the new headquarters of the Congress of Querétaro. The architectural design was developed by Augusto F. Álvarez, the structural design by MBM, and the MEP design by IP Diseños.
Using the coordinated models and the master construction schedule, we developed a 4D simulation to visualize construction sequencing, validate timing, and identify dependencies between activities. During construction, the models and simulation were used as progress monitoring and control tools.
This methodology improved coordination among project participants, provided greater clarity for decision-making, and contributed to completing the project within the intended timeframe.
