Nuevo León Civil Protection

Nuevo León Civil Protection

The proposal was developed for the competition for the new headquarters of Nuevo León Civil Protection. The site, located in the Lomas de Anáhuac neighborhood, is bounded by a drainage channel and Fidel Velázquez Avenue, making site access a key design consideration.
The program was divided into three components: public, semi-public, and private. This organization is expressed as three buildings connected by a central core containing the vertical circulation.
The layout frees as much of the ground level as possible and reduces the building’s impact on neighboring homes. Vertical façade fins respond to orientation and solar exposure while creating a recognizable institutional identity.
